When I wake up it's raining for the first time since I am in London. But not for long. It does not rain anymore when I leave the hotel to go to the airport after having had breakfast, packed my baggages and paid the room.
London city is really operational. The bomb alert which caused my detour to Stanstead was by the way not related to any terrorist action but to a bomb of World War II which was discovered on the morning of June 1st on a construction site.
After check-in I still have four hours. One hour I spend at the science museum. It takes an hour to go there and another one to go back to the airport. Actually when going there it took me 10 minutes more, as my planned route included a trip on the distrct line which was not operating because of problems with communication equipment and I had to make a detour.
The flight was delayed by half an hour because of bad weather but then smooth and without problems.
